MY STORY

Enea Angelo Trevisan

Enea Angelo Trevisan is an Italian entrepreneur. He was active in different business areas - from industry to finance - before dedicating himself to the new markets opened by the digital revolution.

Founder and President of Ealixir Inc., active in over thirty countries worldwide in the sectors of the right to be forgotten applied to the web, the fight against fake news, cyberbullying and web reputation are his main concern.

At the beginning of 2012 his life turned upside down. By typing his name on Google, articles that ruined his reputation appeared: in a few months he lost orders, customers, everything.

However, instead of giving up, Trevisan discovers the right to be forgotten applied to the web, a fundamental right, which nobody talks about, of modern human beings, sanctioned by the European Court of Justice.

In a fight against time, Trevisan creates Ealixir, a company capable of becoming a world leader in the sector, just within its first year.

"I wanted to be nobody" is a book that recounts a unique human and professional adventure, but also an indispensable compendium to fully understand that today's world is dominated, for better or for worse, by the Internet.

What do we do today when we meet a new person?

We google their name, looking for information.

But imagine if the first link regarding you reported false or unpleasant news, capable of making you look bad.

Your life would immediately turn into an ordeal destined to submerge you.

This is exactly what happened to Enea Angelo Trevisan. After hitting rock bottom, he managed to transform his misfortune into a world leading company in the field of the right to be forgotten applied to the web.

His story, narrated in first person, tells a singular professional and human story, which is essential to comprehend the dynamics of the modern world.
